Precautions for use and maintenance of trailer outriggers

Trailer support device, commonly known as outrigger, utilizes the principle of "standing on the top of the tree". Xufeng trailer is located at the front end of the trailer frame and is used after the trailer is separated from the tractor. The outrigger is generally operated by hand. Linked mechanical left and right two outriggers. The main components of the outrigger are a two-speed gearbox, a support sleeve, a support rod, a transmission screw (a crank handle) and a support plate. The structure is very simple and the function is very important.

Precautions for operating outriggers:

1. You can use the fast gear or the slow gear when there is no load. However, it is strictly forbidden to use fast gear when overloading.

2. When leaving the tractor, pay attention to whether the ground is flat, and if necessary, pads should be placed under the support plate to ensure that the support surface is basically level and consistent.

3. When the outriggers are retracted, the rocker must be retracted to the original card position. In order to prevent the "kick" phenomenon from damaging the outrigger when walking.

Maintenance matters:

1. Always check the fastening of the outrigger bolts to prevent loosening and loss of support.

2. After one year of use or 30,000 kilometers, lithium-based grease should be added to ensure the normal use of gear parts.
